Enrichment Programs

Band

The school band is a dynamic group of talented young musicians who come together to create captivating performances and share their passion for music. Through teamwork and dedication, students in the band develop musical skills, discipline, and confidence, all while fostering a strong sense of community. Joining the band offers students a rewarding experience where creativity, collaboration, and growth take center stage. Practices are Wednesday and Thursday from 2:45-3:45. Choir

The school choir is a vibrant ensemble of students united by their love for singing and performing. Through a rich variety of music, members of the choir refine their vocal techniques, develop musicality, and learn the importance of collaboration. From school concerts to community events, the choir brings joy and emotion to every performance. Being part of the choir not only enhances students' vocal skills but also builds lasting friendships and confidence. It's a place where passion for music, teamwork, and artistic expression come together in harmony. Practices are Monday from 1:40-2:40. Fun with Circuits

Fun with Circuits is an exciting and hands-on club where students explore the fascinating world of electronics and circuits. Through engaging projects and experiments, members learn the basics of electrical engineering, from building simple circuits to creating more complex designs. The club encourages creativity, problem-solving, and innovation, making it perfect for students who love to tinker and explore how things work. Fun with Circuits offers a supportive environment where curiosity leads to discovery, and every meeting sparks a new adventure in the realm of technology. Meetings are Tuesdays from 2:45-3:45. Garden Club

The Garden Club is a welcoming space for students who are passionate about nature and contributing ot the beautifying of the school ground. Members of the club get hands-on experience planting, cultivating, and maintaining a variety of plants, flowers, and vegetables. Through teamwork and practical learning, students develop an understanding of gardening techniques, environmental stewardship, and the importance of nurturing the earth. Meetings are held on Monday from 1:40-2:40. Please contact June Wallace for more information.K-KidsK-Kids is a service leadership program encouraging students in grades 3-5 to participate in a variety of service projects aimed at imporving the community and world around them. It is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln.  The purpose of K-Kids is to instill a love of service and leaderhsip in our community youth in the hope it will become a lifelong passion.  Sessions are held on Wednesdays through out the year from 2:45-3:30. Leadership

Leadership is for students in grades 4-5.  The goal of Leadership is to increase our school spirit, include students, and to work to improve our wonderful school through a multitude of projects. Puzzle Club

The Puzzle Club is dedicated to jigsaw puzzle enthusiasts who enjoy the challenge of assembling 100, 300, and 500-piece puzzles. Members work together or individually to complete intricate and beautiful designs, honing their patience, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. The club offers a relaxing and rewarding environment for students to unwind, connect with others, and share a love for puzzles. Whether you're a seasoned puzzle solver or just starting out, the Puzzle Club provides a fun and engaging way to piece things together. Robotics Programming ClubJoin our Robotics Programming Club and dive into the exciting world of coding and robots! This afterschool club is open to 4th and 5th graders and focuses on teaching the basics of programming by working with robots. Students will learn how to give robots commands, solve challenges, and make them move, turn, and perform tasks. Through fun, hands-on activities, kids will develop problem-solving skills and explore the fundamentals of coding in a creative and interactive way. Sessions are held Thursdays from 2:45-3:45 PM. Swifties ClubSwifties: Foskett Version is a club for all Taylor Swift fans to come together and enjoy various activities centered on making new friendships, expressing yourself through lyrics, hands on crafts and getting to know each other. We will foster the appreciation for Taylor Swift's music while striving to create an inclusive environment where members can learn and discuss new ideas and similar interests. Unplugged Coding ClubWelcome to our Unplugged Coding Club! This afterschool club is designed for 2nd and 3rd graders to explore the basics of coding—without using computers!  Unplugged coding teaches the fundamental concepts of programming through hands-on activities and games. Students will work on puzzles, play collaborative games, and solve problems to learn how coding works in a fun and interactive way. This approach helps build critical thinking, logic, and creativity, all while learning the building blocks of coding in an engaging environment. Sessions are held on Thursdays from 2:45-3:45 PM, and no prior experience is necessary.
