What We Do in Science Class
Students learn important science concepts often in pairs and groups to develop interpersonal skills. The development of understanding and becoming a critical thinker involves discussions where students learn to agree or disagree with other students and form their own theories. Students build models, observe demonstrations, conduct their own experiments, watch short video clips, and make learning by Powerpoint presentations, games, and solve problems to engineering projects. Students demonstrate their newly acquired learning by making group presentations. Challenges are presented and students need to solve problems learning to work in groups or pair settings. Chrome books are used in the upper grades to enhance newly learned science curriculum.
